Most of the time these gulls are doing they’re typical seagull cry but when you approach them they look at you and start barking. Like a puppy. Here’s a video:
These seagullies are prone to dying from botulism, often from eating in the dump. You can tell when they do, because their corpses are spread (and uneaten) because they can’t keep their head or wings up anymore. Another reason not to waste food (so seagulls can’t eat your rotted food-trash and get sick)
